"If you're going to be FRIENDLY, then do it all the way. FITLIPS. Good for your lips. Good for the environment."
The ingredient list is: beeswax, mango butter, jojoba oil, sunflower seed oil, grapeseed oil, organic hempseed oil, cocoa butter, cucuacu butter, Vitamin E, rosemary extract, natural flavours
The formula is goopy-free and all ingredients have moisturizing properties, but the following are supreme at promoting healthy lips:
Beeswax locks in moisture, fosters cells and protects skin from damaging environmental factors.
Hemp oil is non-greasy, moisturizing and an excellent anti-aging emollient.
Mango butter softens and smooths lips, while providing anti-oxidants, which help lips stay young.
Cupuacu butter has a high water absorption capacity, thus is highly beneficial for dry and damaged lips.
FITLIPS is 100% natural, Canadian-made lip balm that contains no petroleum or parabens. FITLIPS is best used in the evening before bed as it allows your lips to heal while you sleep. For optimal results use it throughout the day and definitely before a workout. It is low gloss and can be used on its own to give lips a light sheen, while moisturizing and protecting them from too much sun, wind, heat or cold. FITLIPS can also be used with other lip products and even versatile enough for cuticles and dry skin patches.
The “Fit” in FITLIPS represents three elements: the natural ingredients; the way lips feel after using the product; and the eco-friendly packaging. The logo also has a dual personality, acting as lips and a leaf. The packaging is simple: tin containers (22 grams...most balms give you 8 grams or less), that can be re-used or recycled in most blue bin programs. We do not use plastic tubes as they are made with petrochemicals; however our bio-degradable tubes will be available in September 2013.
Fernanda Lazzaro, former TV host and producer for “The Art of Building Bodies” and “Eat, it’s good for you!”, launched FITLIPS after two years of research and development. FITLIPS was created as a result of Fernanda wanting to develop a line that was true to her belief in natural living.
